Stacked up Reds

Postby Capt Marty » Sun Sep 09, 2012 10:43 am

Great time today on the Blue Wave down in Point Aue Chene. Easy as it gets as the reds are stacked up so thick its ridiculous. Capt Joel Wakeland, Tony 'Castin Cajun' Fontenot, and I filmed another Castin Cajun show today. The reds remain on fire as we had them coming in every cast before light. Live or dead pogies and cut mullet did the trick today. No problem filling up the Yeti with our 15 fish limit and a few puppy drum. Back at the dock around 9am as we stayed and played catch n release. Super fun, if your looking to catch reds then this is the month to do it. We will be looking for trout next week, with the water continuing to clean up. Good luck fishing.
