Pascagoula river and bay fishing for trout and reds

I have never fished this area but want to give it a try. Staying at Indian Point from Oct 15-19. I would appreciate any local info on the location and how to fish it. Also, how is the bass fishing and how far up the river do you have to go. Any fishing advice on anything would be appreciated.
