Canyon Lake & LBJ Guide Reports

Canyon Lake: Water: clear; 58 degrees; 909.03: (Full)
Largemouth are fair in 10'-25' using "hard" , suspending
jerkbaits (Bombers, Rogues, etc) brown Curb's hair jigs,
JDC drop shot worms and Scoundrel worms on shaky jigheads
along breaklines and ledges.
Smallmouth are very good in 12' to 25' over rockpiles
using JDC smoke-red flake tubes and tomato red curl tail
grubs and matching drop shot worms.
Stripers are fair to good trolling 1/4 oz. white Curbs striper
jigs vertically jigging Pirk Minnows, trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits
and Spoiler Shads.
White Bass just beginning to "school up" and are fair jigging
silver Pirk Minnows, 1/4 oz. Blade Baits and trolling crankbaits.
Crappie are fair up river on minnows and crappie jigs.
