striper tips

Postby the edsta » Sat Dec 04, 2004 10:18 pm

i fish at a sand spit where the north river meets the atlantic. i fish off the marsh in to the river bed or out to sea. i Used soft sea clams or sometime mackeral as bait and it works pretty good. but i was wondering if any one had any tips on whats good bait for stripped bass? whether high tide in the morning or night is better? And also are lures but then live bait?
