first time fishing Key Largo - need a little direction

Postby dwoody49 » Mon Apr 11, 2005 1:06 pm

I'm heading to Key Largo on Saturday and I'm taking my 18.5 bay boat with me hoping to fish for some mangrove snapper, snook, or trout or whatever is available inshore.

Can anyone give me a quick lesson on just a couple of general areas to fish? I'm not asking for anyone's HOTSPOTS but just a good general rule around where to catch some fish maybe using live shrimp, grubs, casting baits.

Thanks.
Donnie
