dolphin island fishing on southwind

Postby californiaangler1 » Sun Apr 24, 2005 9:04 am

the Southwind out of dolphin island is the worst boat i have ever been on
my nam4e is todd i fish all over the world.I have been in los angeles times western outdoor news and many others.
I recently have fished with Capt vick on the southwind out of dolphin island.big mistake.boat could not even get on plain, captain asked passengers to go to front of boat to try, didnt work had one motor that smoked right in the passengers face, no appoligies.never made it to the fishing grounds stopped early cause of boats problems. We left 30 mins late came back on time. Was no captain mike.Crew had no clue.Fishing poles are like thirty years old and are not taken care of big joke garbage
might as well fish with a broom stick had rusty hoos even. The toilet kept
over flowing.Captain could not even shut the motor off we got a jump start and he had to go down bellow to pull a wire to shut them down. When i told him i was going to write about him he threatend law suit lol
i would spend the extra dollar and fish at Zeekes Landing in Gulf shores
