Viking Fleet Fishing Report

Postby VikingFleet » Tue Dec 06, 2005 4:00 pm

44 hr Florida Middle grounds 12/02/05 We had barely enough fares to sail and the weather forcast was great so we made the call to go fishing and have some fun. Mangrove Snapper fishing was as awesome as it could get. By sat morning most everybody had close to their limit. On Saturday we went for a ride to go looking for some new grouper grounds. That’s the nice thing about having a fast boat and a 44 hr trip, we can go to areas that most boats normally cant go. We had a couple of bad stops but then we hit a great one we got about 35 keeper gags off of it and released many others. Our customers were releasing gags that were just keeper size which was a great thing to see. Overall the trip was really awesome and the passengers were great sportsman and woman. The pool winners were both from NY.Ray Davis A long time customer of the viking fleet won both the 1st place snapper pool and the 2nd place grouper. Doug Smith nailed the 1st place grouper jackpot with a nice gag Grouper.
We have plenty of room on our trips in december and the fishing is great book now!!!!!!!
