Skeletonized Cubera

Postby snapperb8 » Sun Apr 15, 2007 11:21 pm

I was at the Palm Beach Boat Show and saw some really cool fish art from a company named http://helterskeletons.com/. These guys had several skeletal fish mounts including a big bull dolphin, huge cubera snapper and a hogfish. Check them out and let me know what you think.

They look like they're trying to cash in on the G-Loomis ad department. Cool? Heck yeah, those are pretty neat.... But it's pretty easy to see where they got the idea from. :D

I see your point, however it appears to be more of a hybrid between traditional taxidermy and skeletal museum preparation. I saw this as more of an opportunity to own a unique one of a kind piece of fish art.
