Last week offshore Daytona

Friday we finally got a deep-water trip aboard the E SEA GOIN. We had some of flattest water we have had in a while 1 to 2foot seas. We put our spread out in 100 feet just a little north of the inlet with in the first 5 minutes we had our first Wahoo in the boat he went 35 pounds then the wait was on. When we hit 120 feet we caught two 20 pound dolphin and a Wahoo bite then nothing till we got to 150 feet and our big Wahoo hit he went 60 pounds along with a couple more dolphin around 30 pounds. The rest of the day we picked at the dolphin and our last fish of the day was a sailfish. Man you gotta love it when everything goes right.

Early the week we had some 4 and 6 hour trips were we had our limit of kings and one cobia along with a lost dolphin that came in some reefs inshore in 65 feet of water about 8 miles offshore.

I talked to one boat that went to the other side of the gulf steam and had some very nice yellow fin tuna and two blue marlin and a bunch of dolphin.

Bottom fishing has been good with some mangos and grouper and snapper.
