Knotless Boat Rope is a single section of durable shock cord that is divided into sections using stainless steel clamps. Tim Greer created The Knotless Boat Rope while restoring his own boat. At the time, Tim was interested in changing careers. After working on several different ideas for products, Tim decided that Knotless Boat Rope was the idea he would develop. He then made a prototype rope and walked into a marina in the Spartanburg, SC area to see if they were interested. The owner took one look and promptly ordered one hundred of the ropes. As Tim said, I had no packaging and the rope I showed the owner was the only one in existence. Tim immediately went to his boss, Eddie Smith (Bickle-Smith Motorsports), for guidance and Eddie helped Tim get a patent and finance the project.
