101 Trout in the Breton Sound and Marsh

Today was another good day of fishing out of Shell Beach. I had the pleasure of fishing with some great customers of mine who have become some fantastic friends, Greg Ellis, Rene Esnard, David Whatley, and Neal Boudreaux.

Like I said it was another great day of fishing!! We started off in the Breton Sound, but, just like the previous days, the wind picked up and water got muddy. So, we moved into the Biloxi Marsh to find some clean water, which was a good move.

The guys ended the day with 101 speckled trout. All fish were caught 2' under a popping cork using live shrimp.

Tuesday the shrimp season will be open for "Bait Catchers." So I imagine Campo's Marina will have all the bait that you need. And that is what the fish want. As soon as we ran out of live shrimp, we tried a few plastic. But, the fish did not want it. I guess not as tasty like the real thing.

Check out the pictures and give us a call. Lets go catch osme fish and have a ball.
