NEED SOME INFORMATION

Postby TR2129 » Thu Feb 12, 2004 12:06 pm

I WILL BE ON MARCO ISLAND THE WEEK OF 2/22. WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOME FRESH WATER POND OR CANAL FISHING FOR BASS. I PRACTICE 100 % CATCH AND RELEASE. I HAVE A COUPLE OF HOURS FREE IN THE MORNINGS AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE ARE SOME PUBLIC AREAS WITHIN SAY 40 MILES OF THE ISLAND TO WALK AND FISH.

THANKS, TIM

Most of the canal system around Marco is going to be brackish water. Although I have caught bass in this canals, it was by mistake while fishing for snook and tarpon
