Shore Fishing Costa Rica

Postby snookered » Thu Mar 11, 2004 5:20 pm

I'll be in Costa Rica, NW area, for a week in late May. I'll probably charter one day and fish on my own a few days. Maybe even try freshwater.

I'm sure I'll need a local fishing license, but does anyone have any suggestions/tips? Know any reasonable charter operators?

I was going to bring along a rod and reel and a box of Yozuris.

I'm staying at the Paradisus if anyone's familar.

Thanks,
Snookered, the bunny farmer.

I know theres some good fishing charters in Flamingo and thats in the NW, also theres some fishing boats out of Tamarindo. Definately bring your rods and reels and the yo zuris sound good to. Fish in the tamarindo river mouth and right off the beaches. Plenty of snook around the river mouths.
