Gulf Shores - Saltwater Fishing Report
March is almost here and so is Spring Break in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Fishing in March should provide us with some bull redfish and Spanish mackerel as we fish nearshore Gulf Shores. There will certainly be plenty of red snapper once you get out 8 or 10 miles. All bottomfishing should be good with vermillion snapper, triggerfish, white snapper(red porgy), amberjack and more. Amberjack season will close on May 31st. Red snapper season will open June 1st and sure about the closing yet. Probably about a 40 day season is expected foe red snapper.
