Got You Hooked Striped Bass Guide Service is owned and run by Mike Walker Of Fishing 24-7 Guide Service. Lee Bullock will be our full time guide and Brandon Jackson of Riverside Fly Shop will be our guest fly fishing guide. We offer both traditional and fly fishing guided striped bass trips. Get ready Lake Martin, it's 1st or Last here. November 2nd, 2014 By: Mike Walker I'll be starting My trips on Lake Martin over then next month or so. The fishing at Smith Lake will be on fire through December. I'll be there once the topwater stops at Smith and the fish drop down. ill be sending part of January, February, March and April before returning to Smith for the summer. Topwater just started at Smith lake and we got a pig off top. Give me a call if your interested in fishing some of the best topwater action around. October 13th, 2014 -Smith Lake By: Lee Bullock I've spent the last couple months on Smith Lake helping Mike Walker with trips after his car accident. Now that he is back to full straight I thought about going back to Lake Martin and start back running my trips there. But the fishing has been pretty good here, so im going to keep running trips up here for at least a couple weeks before returning home. Im happy with my new partnership with Fishing 24-7 Guide Service. Now I have the ability to fish both lakes at peak times with multi guides working together. I'll be happy to see Mike Walker on Lake Martin this spring. He will be taking trips staring in January on Lake Martin. He will book his dates up fast and will spend half the spring on each lake and so will I. As for the fishing, things were on fire, but the lake started to turn a week or so ago and the fishing slowed a little. We still put good fish in the boat and in a week or so things will be full steam ahead. Most fish are still between 40-60 feet.
