Jordan Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Lake Jordan, Alabama is about to turn on! With the cooler weather finally working its way down the fishing is about to really heat up. Coosa River guide Chad Miller reports that the bass fishing is picking up and it won't be long till there's a lot of schooling fish on top. Right now he's still hitting his better spots deep, but has seen increased action up top with smaller fish. As for the striped bass bite it's still a couple weeks away, but plenty of small striper action to be had right now. Live bait and jigging spoons have been the top producer. As for the crappie guide Chad Miller reports a better bite with every passing day, Chad spent most of the summer fishing deep on mixed bag size crappie. But with the cooler weather size and numbers will go up as the fish move shallower.
