Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Lake Level 185.54 msl
Temperature 70 degrees
Clarity Slight stain to clear
The water level remains very low, caution when navigating is important. If your electronics has a map, use it. There are river cans missing as well as creek markers in Cowikkee. The visible stump fields will be a great source of fish when the water comes back up. Make note of these areas, mark them on your GPS. The grass and cover is getting thick and will be excellent hot spots when they go under.
Bass - The jig bite is on and the fish are deep. Hunt any type of cover and you will find fish. The shallow bite remains good early and late. The sun rise brings on a good top water bite.
Pan fish are hitting dug worms on the edge of the flats
The cat fish are active and very good to eat.
Please keep an eye on www.leekingbenefit.org for news and ways you can help these precious children with terminal diseases. The first flight for the 2013 event is almost full.
Be safe on the River, the fishing is great.
God Bless & Good Fishn'
Capt. Sam
