Lake Eufaula, Alabama

Capt. Sam Williams
March 13, 2016
Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water Level 188.10 msl
Water temperature Mid 60's
Water Clarity Stained

The Osprey are on their nests and the Dogwoods are about to bloom, God's way of reminding us Spring is almost here. The water is holding steady in the 60's now and the river is clearing up. All this points to a hot spring fishing experience, don't miss out on all the great fishing.

The bass are trying to move up and the shallow cover is greening up. The shad will be there and the early morning frog bite will be awesome. The deep cover is still a good bet when the shallow bite slows down.

Crappie are beginning to get hotter, big numbers are just around the corner, some of the ones coming in are really big.

Cat fish are moving in to spawn and some really big ones are being caught. Mouths of creeks are a good place to put out some jugs.

Please visit www.alabamachildrensclassic.org and sign up for our news letter, see opportunities to join us in helping the families and children at Children's Hospital at UAB. Enter in our June bass tournament, fish for part of out guaranteed $10,000.00 purse.

Pray for our military and our leaders.

God Bless & Good Fishn'
Capt. Sam
