Water Temp. upper 40's
Water clarity stained
Winter weather patterns have kept the water temperature below normal. The first drops on river ledges where you find natural and man made structure are holding better fish. Slow presentation is the answer to getting a bite. Jig's with large chunky plastics and crank baits are good choices.
Crappie are also deep, concentrated around structure in 12 to 18 feet. Minnows and jig's do the job.
