Lay Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

With ever changing weather conditions Alabama's bass have experienced, rain, muddy water conditions, warming trends and cold fronts. So have Lay lake's bass anglers!

Last week we had 70 degree weather and water temps rose into the low 50's. Again, this first week of February, another severe cold front will hit, with night time lows in the teens and midday highs near 45 degrees by mid week.!
Two lures that cover water well and work even in cold conditions are swim baits and shallow to deep diving crankbaits!
Bundle up, fish slow and throughly cover the most baitfish infested waters and find the clearest water available, for any hope of having success in these harsh conditions!
Or you can always call on Reeds Guide Service!
