Coosa River Guide Service reports striper fishing has really picked up due to the cooler weather finally moving in. It was a tough October no matter where you fished in Alabama due to the hotter weather. But now it's time and topwater action has started. It will get better over the next week or two as we work into fall. Live bait, artificial, trolling, & planner boards are some of the ways to target them. Mid lake to the top end are the best areas to fish.
