Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Nearshore fishing on 4 hour trips have been producing some very nice big bull redfish. These big redfish have been weighing from 18 pounds to 25 pounds. They have been caught trolling nearshore and casting jigs. This bite has been great all winter and will hopefully continue into late March or early April.

Offshore bottomfishing has been good with catches of vermillion snapper, white snapper, triggerfish, scamp and amberjack. These are all great tasting fish and fun to catch. This bottomfishing should continue to improve.

Do not forget the Saltwater Series Tournament beginning April 4th and ending May 26th, 2008. This tournament includes up to 11 species of fish and the entry fee is only $10 per angler.
Come join us and have some fun and a chance to win some money and prizes.
