Fishing Orange Beach in April

Capt. Don McPherson
March 29, 2010
Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

The water has been much cooler than normal this year due to the colder winter. The redfish bite is slowing down but it is time for the big cobia to appear. April should give us some good Orange Beach fishing for cobia, Spanish mackerel and king mackerel. April and May will be the best months to target big amberjack. April and and May is for the serious fishermen. Come enjoy fishing Orange Beach in the spring. Bottomfising is always good offshore for vermillion snapper, triggerfish, scamp grouper, gag grouper, red grouper, amberjack and muc more.

Target Species:

amberjack, cobia, king mackerel
