Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Awesome awesome awesome. Alabama saltwater fishing at its best right here in Orange Beach, Alabama in December. Big bull redfish in giant schools of over 100 fish. We are catching these big redfish on light spinning tackle with 20 pound test mono line. Curly tail grubs and topwater lures are driving these redfish mad. Watch a 30 pound redfish blow up on a topwater plug and then just hang on. All of this on a 4 hour fishing charter in calm waters near the beach? Yes, it is true. Come try it. These bull redfish should be around till late March. Cool days with a north wind provide the best conditions for a hot redfish bite. There are still a few king mackerel and Spanish mackerel around.

Bull redfishing should be very good in December, January and February.
