Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Alabama Deep Sea Fishing
We are off to a great start with a new year. We fished a 10 hour trip Saturday and caught white snapper, vermillion snapper, scamp, amberjack, gag grouper and one warsaw grouper. It was an awesome day for Bryan and his group. There is less fishing pressure in the winter, and we are usually able to produce a 12 hour catch on a 10 hour trip. This was proven yesterday. What a great group of guys who travelled from near Tampa, Florida to fish with us on an Alabama deep sea fishing trip. The largest grouper, weighing 38lbs, was caught by a 1st time angler in the Gulf. However, the remainder of the group showed their fishing experience as they reeled in some tough fighting amberjack along with the many other fish. Looking for these guys again in the spring to participate in the World Championship Red Snapper
