Gulf Coast Fishing Report - Orange Beach

Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Alabama Deep Sea Fishing in March

March fishing is off to a good start. We fished a 10 hour trip with four anglers today. The temperature was a bit cool as we started, but we ended up with a nice day. We made our regular stop and caught live bait along with some vermillion snapper, white snapper and triggerfish to add to someone's dinner. We then made a few stops and the bite was a bit slow, but we were catching some triggerfish, white snapper and a couple of grouper. We also caught and released several nice red snapper. We eventually travelled farther offshore and located some nice grouper. We caught gag grouper, red grouper and scamp in the deeper water. As the water warms and there is more fishing pressure, we really need a 12 hour trip to target the larger grouper. However, this 10 hour trip was a good catch for four anglers. Thanks to Bruce and his group from Little Rock, Arkansas. We look forward to having them again during red snapper season.
