Orange Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Spring Break fishing in Gulf Shores Alabama
Spring Break, family fun, family fishing, being with friends or the one you love, your favorite music on the back deck and catching fish. It just does not get much better than this. The redfish have possibly moved out for the season. We caught two big bull redfish a few days ago but none have been seen since. The big cobia should be arriving anyday. There have been a few offshore bottomfishing trips out of Orange Beach in the last week with some catches of vermillion snapper, white snapper and a few amberjack. We have been mostly running 4 hour family fishing trips and 4 hour fun trips during Spring Break. We have caught a few redfish. Spanish mackerel have been giving us some fun on light tackle. We have also caught some nice sheepshead around the pass. These 4 hour trips are great for families and groups that are looking for a half day of fun and fishing. We have some 12 hour offshore bottomfishing trips coming up in a about a week. Don't forget the Red Snapper World Championship tournament running from April 21st till May 20th, 2007. Win $25,000 with a $5 ticket ? Triggerfish and vermillion snapper categories are also included for an additional $5 ticket. Spring weather is here and we are enjoying every day.
