The weather we've been needing is finally here. It want be long now, as things should start to heat up pretty quick. Just a couple degrees is all we need for the bite to be on fire. Boat traffic from the FLW tournament has been heavy and made for a tougher bite on Friday. Other than that, the water is clearing up and the bites picking up. The bait is still scattered, so hopefully these next couple days of sun will help ball them up. So if you plan on fishing over the next week or so. My best advise would be, to get your planner boards out and start trolling. On the mid to north ends of the lake, but not in the back of creeks yet. Also the next Striper Tournament is March 23rd. All the info is up on my websites and if you have any question or would like to attend, give me a call(205)503-2020. I'm looking forward to a great spring, so if your looking to catch that wall hanger. Then Mid to late March and thought it most of April will be a great time to be on the water.
