June 18th Update

Capt. Jim Lucas
June 18, 2008
Yes Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

The last 10 days have been some tough early season fishing, with modest catches of both Salmon and Halibut. The Kings are a little late this year but we expect the catch to improve as the recent rains swell the creeks. The halibut catch has been getting better daily as they move into the shallower water in anticipation of the salmon run and for spawning.

Yes Bay Fishing Forecast:

The King Salmon season is just beginning after a late start here in SE Alaska. Look for the halibut bite to pick up as well.

Target Species:

King Salmon & Halibut

Join Capt Jim and fish the waters of SE Alaska from Yes Bay Lodge. The Lodge is a fly-in remote luxury destination with the best in salt water and fresh water fishing. Jim also spends his winter months fishing in Florida, the Bahamas and Central America.
