Greers Ferry - Freshwater Fishing Report


The water level at greers ferry lake is at 462.36 and falling it is 0.18 feet below normal pool of 462.54 the temp has came back up into middle to upper 80's.

The bream are up shallow and can be caught off of beds on crawlers crickets ,all over the lake.

The bass fishing has improved up shallow with a lot roaming in packs and alone chasing bream, try top waters and small crank baits, out deeper use the Alabama rig,texas rig , c-rig or a foot ball head.

The walleye fishing is tough try dragging crawlers in 23-32 feet of water .

The whites and hybrid bass are either roaming or suspended just floating around not doing a lot if ya can stay with the roaming fish they will eat good, as the temp falls the bite will go crazy , just on the verge of a great fall, try spoons, in-line spinners and topwater baits.

The crappie are slow.
