Greers Ferry - Freshwater Fishing Report

The lake level at greers ferry lake is at 453.93 and falling , it is 7.06 feet below normal pool of 461.03 and the temp is mid 70's to 80 degrees and falling.

The hybrid and white bass fishing is good with fish schooling all over the lake , big peter ,little peter creek, kidney cove , Heber rec area, the peach orchard, north bank from Shiloh to Cherokee rec. Area and cove creek being good one at present, try top water baits ,in-line spinners, the Arkansas claw, and spoons for the best bite find the bait and just be patient, try and stay away from other boats as the fish will spook easy right now, look anywhere in the water column between 15-40 feet of water.

The bream have moved a little deeper but are still biting good and some moving back shallow as the day warms the water try crickets ,crawlers, small minnows and crawlers on a drop shot rig to show them something different.

The catfish are being caught on trotlines jugs and such, with cut bait and line bream.

The walleye are hit and miss with the weather warming back up they are kinda undecided I guess try trolled crank baits and crawlers in 20-32 feet of water, on the edge of flats.

The bass fishing , ya need to be junk fishing as they are scattered everywhere and will eat a lot of different baits right now , spinner baits, crank baits up shallow jigs and jihhead worms in mid depths ,texas rigs ,c-rigs ,jigs and the Arkansas claw for the deeper suspended fish.
