White River Fishing Report 11/12/13 to 11/19/13
The weather has been typical fall weather. The fishing on the river has, and will be awesome this week and the spawn time period is here. Remember November 1, 2013 the regulations on the river changed. Consult your regulation book or go to www.agfc.com. Water has been running most days with minimum flow to 6 generators going. Things don't change much this time of year. Plan for the weather. Target the fish you want, numbers or Big Fish. What ever you decide , just have fun. It's a wonderful time of the year to fish. When the generators do come on, take advantage of the rise it creates a very good bite for the Rouges, Spoons, Roster Tails, and other artificial baits. Trophy Browns are being caught at night when the generators are shut down. Come see me for details on this. Best baits right now are Nightcrawlers, Frozen Shad, River Slicks, and Sculpins. Flat Fish in gold or silver, Broken Back J-9 Rapala's in the trout and shad colors, or a Stinging Lizard have been working as well. Powerbait and Powerbait Trout worms in white, bubblegum,or orange have been doing well to catch numbers. For the Fly Fisherman Streamers, White Jigs, Midges, Woolly bugers, and Nymphs. Call me if you have questions. Be sure of yourself or get a guide. Now is some of the best times to catch world class fish. Call 870-445-4444 or 870-405-7671 for availability. Visit our websites at www.marmarresort.com or www.bigphilsguides.com or Email [email protected].

Be aware of generation levels and lake levels. The Water can be treacherous. Experience counts. Using Big Phil's Guides is the best way to go. If you have questions call 870-445-4444 or 870-405-7671.
