The boat is in the water and it is chilly. The warm winter is not translating to a warmer spring. Water temp is 47 today. We will be checking on the Blackfish bite before the end of April if the water hits 50 degrees. There was bait present in the lower CT river and some school Stripers have been reported. Hopefully we will have good weather and will be able to report an early start to the season. When we will start charters will depend on the state of the virus epidemic next month, stay tuned and God bless!

Kingfisher Charters will provide fishing excitement that is customized for you and your group. We will personally discuss with you the type of trip that best suits your needs and desires. From the beginner to the advanced we offer fishing adventures other boats can't match.. A typical full day trip can take you light tackle casting, to live bait fishing, then to deep water trolling for striped bass, bluefish, and fluke. We specialize in live bait fishing for trophy sized bass in shallow water.
