Long Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report
Monday afternoon's trip saw Jim and his crew land numerous blue's in the 10 lb. class trolling parachutes around Race Rock to go with a couple stripers.
Tuesday Jim Lee and his wife used live hickories to land stripers to 38" in the Race. Finished the day with a keeper fluke to go with numerous shorts.
Wednesday afternoon John Miller and his friend Jerry enjoyed a striper bonanza in middle Race catching fish an almost every drift 3 waying plastic swim baits and diamond jigging. Bass were in the 26-33" class. 1 10lb. blue was landed along with the 20 plus stripers landed.
Thursday Bob and his daughter came early enough to catch numerous shad for the baitwell. On our 2nd drift Adrianna landed a nice 36 "r to get the morning off to a good start. However, numerous drifts at several locations produced no more hook-ups. We trolled up a half dozed LARGE Blue's in thick fog around Race Rock. Finished the day with a couple keeper fluke and 34 in. striper that hit a whole squid intended for a big fluke.
