The week in review

Long Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Last week the fishing was great or poor depending on which days you went. We had 4 trips that were outstanding landing Large bluefish to 17 lbs. and quality stripers to 40 inches. The challenge was getting our live bunkers past the ravenous blues. A couple trips saw very slow action as the fish just seemed to disappear one day only to return to the same spot on the same tide the next day. Sea bass fishing was very good, while fluke fishing is sporadic at best. For the latest videos and pictures check out the Facebook page- @ Kingfisher Charters

Long Island Sound Fishing Forecast:

The next three weeks have typically been the best of the year for stripers
