New Haven - Saltwater Fishing Report
The past weekend was our last Tog Trip out until the season re opens up in October. We ran a open boat trip on saturday and had 4 of our diehards onboard.
Captain Mike left the dock at 5:30 am and was greeted by some choppy seas. He ran to the west wall of New Haven Harbor and quickly had the guys in to fish.Doug was the first to boat one and the rest cought right up to him.
Today the the hot bait was asian crab and the water temp was 48 degrees.
We were able to limit out the guys in 4 hours with Tog form 3-8 pounds.
New Haven Fishing Forecast:
Mid May still looks good for Bass and we will be running evening and morning trips.
We already have Bunker in the Harbor and will be making some scounting trip within the next week
