Some Action, More Expected Soon

Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've had four scouting trips in the past ten days, catching schoolie bass up to 26" around the Norwalk Islands as well as many bluefish in the 5-7 pound range mid-Sound--all top-water action, using light tackle.

Water temps are still under 60 degrees, and as soon as the weather heats up, a lot of bait will be headed our way, and the larger stripers that have been hanging around Hempstead Harbor will be coming closer to Norwalk shores any day now.

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle fishing in Long Island Sound May through November. Targeting striped bass, bluefish, porgies, fluke. 25-foot C-Hawk customized sportsfisherman with fully-enclosed pilot house.
