Back in Connecticut...Getting Our Boat Ready

Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We returned to Connecticut last Sunday after a very slow season in Florida.
Although there were crocuses (croci?) and daffodils in bloom--as well as robin redbreasts everywhere and a new dove's nest in front of our house--we're dealing with chilly weather and we even had some snow flurries yesterday.
The temperatures are supposed to be in the 50's today, so I'm painting the bottom of our C-Hawk and doing some other maintenance work, hoping to have our new engine installed within the next two weeks and have the boat launched before the end of the month.
As soon as we're back in the water, we'll let everyone know what's going on in Long Island Sound.
