Report for Long Island Sound

Capt. Sal Tardella
April 18, 2006
Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We returned to Connecticut last week and have been getting our boat ready to be launched. As soon as we're in the water we'll start some scouting trips to see where the best action is.

It appears that this will be an excellent season for striped bass. Stripers have been taking up residence in the Housatonic and Connecticut Rivers for quite some time now, and we know they'll be moving very close to the Norwalk Islands very shortly.

This year "My Bonnie" will be sporting a brand-new

4-stroke 250HP Yamaha engine, and we're very excited about the upgrade.

Charter reservations have begun to come in--mostly from regulars. It looks like we're going to have another busy year!
