Most of the week was a washout....

Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's been a rough several days with near-gale winds and some heavy rain in our area. But we managed to get out on Saturday morning---with Mike White of Derby and his three sons, Chris of Seymour and Pat and Sean of Bethany--a belated Father's Day gift for Mike. It was impossible to get out into deep water because of four-five foot seas, so we hugged the shoreline and sheltered areas for the entire four-hour trip. The weather was quite uncomfortable, but no one complained; and the boys caught more than four dozen porgies up to 14.5", and they kept 23 for a Saturday night family barbecue at Mike's house.
