Quepos - Saltwater Fishing Report
We recently contacted Quepos Sailfishing Charters for a family trip to Costa Rica, Leanne set us up with a charter aboard the Frenzy II out of Quepos, CR for two days. We had Marco and his dad for Mates and Jose as the captain. First and foremost: THIS IS A TOP NOTCH CREW. Day one we decided to target Mahi for some dinner. We were able to raise about 12, but only 3 came tight. They just weren't eating that aggressively.
But day two was a banner day for anyone. We raised and caught 3 sailfish, 3 yellow fin tuna one of which was about 90#, 13 Mahi, and 9 triple tail. This was an action packed day and a lot of fun on the water. The crew worked hard the entire time and both days we fished longer than expected which is always a nice surprise for serious anglers. We will fish on the Frenzy again and with Quepos Sailfishing Charters as they fulfilled all of our needs!
