Sun and Fish Galore

Capt. Dan Wise
April 19, 2010
Rio Colorado - Saltwater Fishing Report

The weather at Rio Colorado Lodge has been hot, humid and sunny. We've had a couple of mornings when anglers were cooled by an early morning rain.

The fishing continues to be good with tarpon in abundance. A couple of days they did not seem too interested in taking the bait, but overall, fishing has been great.

Repeat anglers Brian Noreski and Gary Mellwig fished 5 days and jumped 22 tarpon, boated 4. They also caught jack crevale and barracuda.

The Rio Colorado Lodge is remotely located on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, nestled in Costa Rica's ropical jungle where the Colorado River flows into the Caribbean Sea.  Here you'll experience the world's best tarpon and snook fishing as well as a multitude of light tackle game fish.
