The tarpon are everywhere!

Capt. Dan Wise
September 16, 2009
Rio Colorado - Saltwater Fishing Report

The tarpon are everywhere, but not all that interested in plastic lures the last couple of days! Tarpon are rolling in the rivers, as well as rising above the peaks in the Caribbean. A few days ago several tarpon and some snook were boated. This week so far, we've just seen tarpon everywhere, but we've had no guest until today, so hopefully they'll have some hook-ups for us to report later in the week.

The weather is sunny and hot, rarely a cloud in sight. Lots of sun screen needed! The ocean is calm, and the river hardly moving. Summer days1

Rio Colorado Fishing Forecast:

If September is as historical, the fishing will be good especially for tarpon

The Rio Colorado Lodge is remotely located on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, nestled in Costa Rica's ropical jungle where the Colorado River flows into the Caribbean Sea.  Here you'll experience the world's best tarpon and snook fishing as well as a multitude of light tackle game fish.
