Tarpon Fishing and Weather at Rio Colorado Lodge is Good!

Capt. Dan Wise
October 12, 2009
Rio Colorado - Saltwater Fishing Report

The tarpon fishing continues to be good in the Rio Colorado Lodge area. Anglers hooking many more than boating, but busy fishing!

The weather is good. We had one bad day last week with rain, wind, and rough ocean. The hot, beautiful weather has returned.

Rio Colorado Fishing Forecast:

We anticipate tarpon fishing to continue to be good as it historically is this time of year.

We are also looking for the Calba Snook to start coming in....sometimes they come as early as late October, sometimes not until November.

More Fishing Reports:

The Rio Colorado Lodge is remotely located on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, nestled in Costa Rica's ropical jungle where the Colorado River flows into the Caribbean Sea.  Here you'll experience the world's best tarpon and snook fishing as well as a multitude of light tackle game fish.
