Bait and more bait - The Mosquito Lagoon and the river looks like a bait shop, finger mullet are everywhere. This week we fished the north end (AKA) the woods and caught many trout over the upper slot. Trout are on the drop offs and points ambushing mullet as they trave more...

Trout and redfish bite is good, still catching kings offshore. - Catching fish while dodging storms is what we like to do this time of year.
When we can get out to kingfish we do very well. One of my regulars, Ray Mallory, holds another good fish caught by him just prior to the tropical storm.
