Kings have arrived off Anna maria

Anna Maria - Saltwater Fishing Report

The kingfish migration has started right on schedule. A couple of cold fronts have pushed the kings our way. Some kings have been up to 35 pounds but most are nice schoolers from 8-15 pounds. A few bonus tarpon and blacktip sharks are mixed in the big bait schools so keep some heavier tackle ready with larger baits. We had 3 tarpon to the boat last week in the 100 pound class. Some of the blacktips were in the 60 - 80 pound class.

Anna Maria Fishing Forecast:

We look forweard to the same action to maintain on the kingfish for the next 2 months until the water temps reach below 70 degrees. Snook will also be on the increase moving into rivers and creeks for their fall pattern
