Tampa Bay

Capt. Brady Nelson
February 14, 2012
Anna Maria - Saltwater Fishing Report

Inshore Report

Fishing has been good up till the cold front the other day wich dropped the water temps inshore to 52* in some places, all in about two days. Needless to say it will put a slow down on the bite for a day or two but things should warm right back up as temps today will rise into the upper 70's. Redfish, and sheepshead are still a common catch this time of year. Trout and flounder have also been on the end of the line lately. Things are booking up for this upcoming spring and tarpon season so if you can book your days soon.

Offshore Report

The bite is still good offshore on the bottom with numbers of Grunts, Hogfish, Sheepshead, Grouper, coming up to the boat. On the longer days we are seeing nige amberjack and bonito in 100' of water.
