Tarpon are here

Capt. Brady Nelson
May 29, 2012
Anna Maria - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tarpon are on the beaches thick. Were are seeing lots of fish. It has not been uncommon to have 5 or six fish on an hour when their feeding good. Sharks are on the prowl as we have had a few chasing our tarpon. Flounder seem to be on every rock pile off the beaches with limits on some days. I haven't seen limits of flounder scene I was a kid.

Trout and Reds still real good inshore and way more snook than in the past few years. Folks if you get a chance to go fishing soon I highly recommend it you can catch just about everything right now.

Anna Maria Fishing Forecast:

Tarpon should hang in there for a while. Looking for reds to take the cooler temps in the deeper potholes soon. Get your 1/4 inch bait nets out as the small bait will be here any day.Im capt. Brady nelson and I prefer the Fitec Super Spreader 10' 1/4 inch for this time of year.
