Biscayne Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

The best time of the year for fishing in Biscayne Bay is here! We are in full summer time mode, which consists of calm mornings and early starts at dawn looking for rolling tarpon, floating permit and/or tailing bones. The calm weather normally lasts until the afternoon, before the usual thunderstorms start to develop inland, due east towards the bay and chase us off the water. Once the storms pass by, the calm weather returns and you can get into some of the most epic bonefish and tailing permit action.
Baby tarpon fishing has been consistent, along with good numbers of small to mid size bonefish. The water gets very hot this time of the year so bonefishing in the shallows is better early and late. Permit are less sensible to heat and like to feed consistently through the day.
Do you have a busy morning that keeps you from making plans to go fishing?
We can arrange 4 hour late afternoon or early morning trips and have some epic fishing with the right tides. Contact me for the best days.
Whether is Flyfishing or lighttackle, I am ready to deliver and
show you a great time on the water.
Give me a call and let's go fishing.
