July report for Chokoloskee - Here in the Everglades National Park, the weather in July is fairly predictable, as are the fishing patterns. Day time air temperatures are now hovering around 92 degrees each day, bringing the water temperatures up to 87 degrees.

Big Snook bite still strong in The Everglades - If it is a trophy snook you are looking for, its time to visit the Everglades area. Those large females have migrated from the backcountry and from offshore to the rivers and passes of the area.

Winter Fishing Chokoloskee/Everglades City - It has started out just like last year.
Red fishing is very good but must be fished on the outgoing because the water will be clear for site fishing.
The Big Trout are here in numbers but the tarpon are so spotty it's not worth looking for them.
